What sort of person will be caring for you?
Our care workers and personal assistants are professional and empathetic, and all are experienced and trained in Health and Social Care. They all have the mandatory Care Certificate and almost all have a QCF Level 2-3 in social care and those who don't are working towards this. Because we specialise in End of Life Care, the majority of our care staff are also qualified in specialist clinical areas.
We are bound by the rules of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in all our recruitment, training and supervision of all our staff.
Our Service Goal
Our service goal is to provide the best trained professional care workers and personal assistants for our customers. We only employ staff who are trained and experienced. They fulfil induction training with us and we provide regular in-house refresher courses on a range of subjects relevant to our customers' needs. This includes working with people with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, physical disabilities or mental health needs.
All our in-house training is accredited externally at QCF (previously NVQ) Level 2 by Butterfields Training.
Our Social Goal
Our social goal is to develop our care workers to be the best professionals and citizens they can be, through training and development opportunities in health and social care, literacy, IT and community leadership courses. We support our workers to progress in their career to become nurses, social workers and other health and social care professionals.
