We pay the London Living Wage to all but  handful of We are currently recruiting  workers who can work with our customers across East London. We are especially keen to receive applications from Hackney and Barking & Dagenham where we have growing numbers of customers. We also hold a local authority contract for Care for the Somali Community, so we are always looking for Somalian and Arabic speakers. Demand for Eastern European languages is also increasing. 

Essential criteria includes

• Able to carry out personal care.

• Able to communicate in different ways.

• Able to adapt to the different needs of different people.

• Ability to organise your time and keep timed appointments.

• NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care 

• Ideally have experience of supporting older people/ people with a disability.
• Able to work varying shift times.
• Ability to adapt to a number of challenging environments

Three Sisters Care Ltd are looking for driven, professional and ambitious Team Managers AND Team Leaders to join our fast-paced working environment.

The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the care provided to a group of service users within the local community. This will include carrying out risk assessments, monitoring and reviewing care plans, supervising care workers, including carrying out regular spot checks and observations of their delivery of case, to ensure that care visits to service users are delivered to the high standards expected by the company.

 

The Team Manager is the manager of a Company team centred on a groups of service users (who may be geographic or demographic). The Team Manager manages the delivery of care to service users, to ensure that the team for which he/she is responsible provides a high, quality, personalised service to clients to enable them to enjoy the best quality of life they can in the comfort of their own homes.

 

Key Competencies and Qualifications for Team Leaders & Team Managers

  • The post-holder will be able to demonstrate the following essential skills:

 

  • An NVQ/QCF Level 3  for Team leaders and Leverl 5 for team Managers in Health or Social Care.

  • A positive attitude towards older people, people with mental health problems or physical, metal and learning disabilities.

  • A commitment to promoting choice, personalised support and maintaining the rights of people with disabilities.

  • Ability to maintain clear and accurate written and electronic records and follow statutory reporting procedures.

  • IT literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to communicate, with good spoken and written English.

  • Ability to organise and demonstrate excellent time-keeping.

  • Ability to build positive working relationships with customers, their families, care staff and other health and social care professionals.

  • Ability to train and develop staff members in improving performance and ensuring CQC compliance.

  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to think clearly when under pressure. Comfortable using own initiative to solve problems.

  • The following attributes are desirable in the post-holder:

  • Ability to drive.

  • Ability to speak other languages (especially community languages).

  • Ability to drive.

  • Experience in a customer service role.

  • Working towards NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health or Social Care.

  • Clinical skills.

  • Specific training/certification in social care risk assessments and care planning.
